This morning (October 20), the 10th session of the National Assembly XIII is officially opened at Dien Hong Conference Hall, Parliament building.
According to the agenda of the meeting, after the opening speech of President of National Assembly Nguyen Sinh Hung, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will present "Report on the socio-economic status in 2015 and five years of 2011-2015; orientations and tasks for 5 years of 2016-2020 and in 2016 ".
Next, Synthesis Report reviews and recommendations of voters nationwide presented by Chairman Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan.
Delegates will hear the Chairman of the Economy Committee of the National Assembly Nguyen Van Giau to present evaluation results of the resolutions of the National Assembly about the plan for socio-economic development in 2015 and generalize the results of 5 years of 2011-2015; plan for socio-economic development in 2016.
According to information from the Office of the National Assembly, as scheduled, Parliament will use19/31 working days for the 10th session to discuss, consider 18 laws, 14 resolutions and commenting about 8 other bills.
Besides, the National Assembly will take 12 working days to discuss and consider the results of implementing the plan of socio-economic development, the state budget in 2015 and 2016 plans; evaluating the results of the implementation of the national target program for 2011-2015; Construction and investment policy proposed national target program in the period of 2016-2020; giving an opinion on plans for socio-economic development, 5-year financial plan of 2016-2020.
A new feature at this session is that all cabinet members will be available in 2.5 days to implement question and answer session in mid-November.
Besides, the Congress also made questioning for the issues related to the judicial sector in the XIII National Assembly with the participation of leaders of the People's Procuracy, the Supreme, the Supreme People's Court in question and answer sessions.
