The 23rd Vietnam Medi Pharm Expo will be held from December 1-3 in Hanoi to introduce latest achievements and technology in the health and pharmaceutical sectors of both domestic and foreign firms.
About 150 enterprises, which come from 18 countries and territories, will show their products at 250 booths. Conferences, free-of-charge medical checkups, blood donation and gift presentations will take place during the expo.
Twenty five companies from the Republic of Korea will participate in the event, along with those from Canada, the US, the UK, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, among others.
Hanoi sets to expand health insurance coverage to 80 percent of local population by 2016 and 90 percent by 2020.
