The exhibition titled “My Ha Noi” are on display at the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – 2014) from September 27th to October 2nd.
The exhibition titled “My Ha Noi” are on display at the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – 2014) from September 27th to October 2nd. Has been approved by The People’s Committee of Ha Noi, the exhibitions was co-organized by Economy & Urban Newspaper and Hanoi Older Photographic Artists Club. The exhibition is one of various cultural and art activities will be held to celebrate the 60 th anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day.
The event aims to mark the great historical significance of the capital liberation and efforts of Hanoi’s soldiers and people; aims to educate people… and show gratitude to fallen soldiers, war invalids and those who contributed to the liberation of Hanoi; introduce the capital’s achievements in Renovation; encourage young generations join hands to develop, preserve and promote values of the title “City for Peace” for further development, prosperity and integration.
The exhibition covers three main themes: Hanoi – City of bitter struggle for liberation and independence; Hanoi – The Heroic Capital city in renovation; Hanoi – City for Peace and includes 116 photos which reflect truly and lively daily life, praising capital’s achievements during the past 60 years;…
Through lens and photography language, authors of 116 photos depicts the heart of Hanoians whose spent whole life in this city and brought a diversified view about Hanoi with beauty of people and nature, ancient architects and modern buildings...
