A huge contemporary art center with several spaces for art exhibitions and visual performances was officially open in the city’s District 2 on 2017 April.

This place to develop and serve our local artistic community, by showcasing critically dynamic artistic production (from home and beyond) that enriches and inspires a supportive network for art and culture in Vietnam. To nourish and facilitate the development, awareness and support of Vietnamese contemporary art and culture as a critically integral aspect of social life today.
The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre is an independent art centre that creates and hosts interdisciplinary contemporary art and cultural activities.

At The Factory, this will consist of integration of the space with the menus of food, cocktails, and coffee. The concept is loosely based on the dynamic food scene in Melbourne, Australia, somewhere that Van Der Westhuizen feels has captured something unique about food service. This is also a major point. They have spent countless hours with the staff developing a service-minded establishment.
The founder of the art center, Ti-a Thuy Nguyen, who is a fashion designer, said she also offers private spaces in the 1,000-square meter center for team working and art creations. After the first art center operated in Ho Chi Minh City, a second center will be launched in Hanoi very soon, Nguyen added.
Aim to be a ‘destination’ for our community, seeking to introduce and expand knowledge of art in its past and current cultural trends.

Through exhibitions, workshops, live arts, talks and screening programs.
