First Smart Health and Education Operation Centers launched in Vietnam

With current technology, the Smart Health Operation Center can connect local experts, doctors and more than 100 hospitals in 12 countries around the world for healthcare consulting and technology transfer.

The pilot model of Vietnam’s first two Operation Centers for Smart Health and Education was put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City on February 11, Hanoimoi reported.

Nguyen Tan Binh, director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, said that the Smart Health Operation Center is located at his department to coordinate the department's activities with subordinate units via a host of applications.

In the immediate future, all information about cases related to the novel coronavirus (nCoV) will be reported by hospitals and health stations to the Operation Center for unified control of the disease in the city. Based on such information, the department could promptly give guidance on treatment and roll out other necessary preventive health measures.

With current technology, the Smart Health Operation Center can connect local experts, doctors and more than 100 hospitals in 12 countries around the world for healthcare consulting and technology transfer.

Besides, Ho Chi Minh City’s Smart Education Operation Center is expected to improve the management and direction of the city's health sector, renovate teaching - learning methods, enhance the quality of education and training, bring the best gadgets for teachers, parents, students and administrators.

Currently, one third of schools in the city are equipped with closed-loop television cameras. In the coming time, the city strives to expand the CCTV coverage to 100% of schools and educational institutions. All will be integrated with the Smart Education Operation Center to ensure supervision and direction.
