After Zone 9 closed, young people and expats still had many other options for the bars as Barbetter, Yolo or Hero. These bars have a unique décor and serve customers with different tastes.
Barbetter the center
Barbetter opened after the closure of Zone 9 but it is decorated with “Zone 9 style”. The bar looks like a mine, with the DJ platform being a wooden wagon. It has weekly shows by DJs and a violin band. Some drinks such as beer, cocktails and entertainment games including billiards and foosball will help you feel relaxed after a busy day.
+84 bar
At +84 bar, the open courtyard is turned into seats to help customers to mix themselves with nature. Inside the bar are many tables for couples or groups of four and especially two wine rooms with premium brands.
The bar’s manager, Giang Trang, is also seen as part of the soul of +84. The bar serves customers with music of Trinh Cong Son, jazz and rock and roll music. It is located at 23 Ngo Van So Street.
Yolo bar
Located at 32C Cao Ba Quat Street, Yolo impresses customers by its decoration, using recycled items and antiques. The Yolo top floor is the outdoor space for BBQ parties.
Hero bar
Lying on Yen Phu Street, the vehicles such as cars or motorcycles can easily approach Hero bar. The first impression at the place is probably a DJ platform made from an old car head, painted in blue and the tables made from oil drums.
The bar is decorated by wall paintings depicting super-heroes from the blockbuster movies of Marvel like Spiderman, Blue Giant or Batman and also propaganda pictures. The bar is usually crowded after 10pm till late night.
