Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) Hanoi 2016, which will be organised in Hanoi from April 14-17, will introduce to tourists thousands of the country’s tourism products, especially sea and island tourism.
Themed “Vietnam – The paradise of sea and island tourism”, this year’s event is expected to draw the participation of 3,000 enterprises and approximately 62,000 visitors.
The annual fair aims to attract more international tourists to Vietnam, while contributing to increase the number of domestic visitors to sea and island areas.
During the fair, the key tourist destinations that will be highlighted are Hanoi, the Northwest Region and the Central Highlands – South Central Region.
VITM Hanoi 2016 is scheduled to promote three sectors of tourism, including: Inbound, Domestic & Outbound. The event will make a chance for the participated travel agencies to meet, discuss and sign cooperation contracts.
Besides, tens of thousands of low cost air fares and tourism packages will be offered at the VITM Hanoi 2016.
A web portal with the aim to help tourism agencies promote and sell their products while facilitating visitors to choose their most appropriate packages, will also be introduced during the fair.
At present, Vietnam has become an emerging outbound market.
More than 5 million Vietnamese travel overseas annually, reaching a growth rate of 15%. Vietnam has been considered to be a new source market for many countries.
