Three Vietnamese people on the Flight MH17

Three Vietnamese people were among the Flight MH17 victims, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

A 37-year-old mother and her 17-year-old daughter and 13-yerar-old son got on the Boeing 777 to return to Ha Noi.
 
The Vietnamese representative agencies in Malaysia, Ukraine and the Netherlands are working actively with the host countries to help the victims’ families hold due funeral observances.
The flight departed Amsterdam at 12.15pm, local time on July 17. It was scheduled to arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 6.10 am, local, Malaysian time.
The jet fell down near Hrabovo village, Shakhtersk district, Donetsk of Ukraine, about 52km from the Ukraine-Russia borderline.
All 298 passengers and crew members were killed.
Vietnamese senior leaders have expressed their condolences and deep sympathy to the Government, people, and families of the victims of the tragic flight crash in Ukraine.
On July 18, the United Nations Security Council called for an independent comprehensive international investigation with access to the site, debris, black box and any possible witnesses./.
