The contest aims to project Vietnam as a safe, friendly, and attractive travel destination by showcasing authentic perspectives through the eyes of young people and digital content creators.

With a prize pool of VND100 million (US$2,600), the “Go to chill, feel to love” contest invites participants nationwide to share unique travel experiences that showcase Vietnam’s natural beauty, rich culture, and diverse heritage.

The competition is open to videos presented in English or with English subtitles to make the content more accessible to international audiences and enhance Vietnam’s visibility on the global tourism map. In addition to cash prizes, outstanding entries will be showcased on the official YouTube channel of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

Videos should be 60 seconds long, highlight Vietnam’s nature, culture, cuisine, unique experiences, personal travel stories, or international perspectives, and be submitted between July 9 and September 9, with winners announced on September 30 via the VNAT website.

At the launch event, Hoang Quoc Hoa, Director of the Tourism Information Center, emphasized the contest's importance in the context of digital transformation in tourism promotion.

“This contest is a creative platform for travel enthusiasts and content creators, as well as a strategic effort by the VNAT to promote the tourism sector through technology,” he said.

Each video entry should convey a meaningful message that inspires travel, fosters community engagement, and showcases Vietnam's distinctive cultural identity to the world."

"Vietnam is emerging as a leader in digital storytelling. This contest offers a valuable opportunity for local creators to share the beauty and essence of Vietnam with international audiences," she said.

"YouTube provides a powerful platform for these voices to resonate globally, strengthening cross-cultural connections through a shared admiration for Vietnam," she added.

Over three months, the contest aims to enrich Vietnam’s tourism narrative in the digital era by generating diverse, authentic, and creative works from majestic landscapes and heritage sites to vibrant markets and everyday life.
