Two Vietnamese people ranked among 5% worldwide leading economists

They are named as one of leading economists chosen by Repec.

Professor Nguyen Duc Khuong is ranked at 2.185 while PhD Nguyen Viet Cuong stands at 2.516 in the leading economist list (top 5 percent includes 2.528 individuals).
He received a doctorate from the University of Grenoble at the age of 27. He taught at the Lyon Business School, Grenoble Institute of Business Administration.

He is currently the Deputy Director and Finance Dean at IPAG Business School in Paris. He also participates in researching and teaching at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and many universities in Vietnam.
Prof Nguyen Duc Khuong is popular in Vietnam as the member of Vietnamese Prime Minister’s Economic Consultation Group.
Less popular, Dr Cuong - current Vice Head of Mekong Development Institute, major in research development economy; and Vice Head of Public Policy and Management Institute (National Economy Unversity) . Cuong has the trend to research on burning topic such as: Poverty, estimate and quantitative analyze effect of social economic projects/programs.

According to RePec, Prof Nguyen Duc Khuong published 62 working paper and 82 research journals during the period of 2008-2017, while Nguyen Viet Cuong released 95 working paper and 50 research journal from 2002 until now.
