The Da Nang University Village project has been implemented since 1997, spanning an area of nearly 300 hectares at Ngu Hanh Son district in Da Nang city.
According to UDN’s representatives, following the plan for Da Nang university Village project until 2025, this project will be the place of study and concentration activities for 60,000 students in Da Nang University.
UDN will urgently complete the review and implementation of the 1/2000 scale zoning plan and then carry out the 1/500-scale master plan for the Da Nang University Village project.
However, the preparations of investment for Da Nang University Village project is currently sluggish because UDN has no experience in preparing and implementing an investment strategy for such a large project, according to Huynh Duc Tho, Chairman of Da Nang People’s Committee.
Earlier, during his meeting with leaders of UDN, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked all stakeholders to find solutions to problems that have bedeviled the Da Nang University Village project over the last two decades.
During his working visit to the University of Da Nang (UDN), the PM asked the Ministry of Education and Training, the authorities of Da Nang and Quang Nam province and other relevant agencies to clear all difficulties so that the central government can make the final decision to end the long delay.
