The writing contest enables Vietnamese people to search for rich and diverse cultures of four beautiful countries.
Vietnamese people aging from 18 are now given an opportunity to delve into cultures of four Central European countries the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia in a contest of such a high caliber.

Held by the Embassy of Poland in Hanoi, this is the third Wikipedia writing contest and the first on the Visegrád Group, Visegrád Four, or V4, expected to attract a large number of contestants in two and a half months thanks to its size and the meaning.
“Visegrad (V4) Heritage” competition is aimed to encourage participants to search for the rich and diverse heritage of these European countries.
By writing as much as possible entries with 1,000 words each from early April to mid-June on Wikipedia.org and republishing them on www.disanv4.com, entrants are promised to win the first prize worth US$2,000, in addition with second, third and consolation prizes.
A jury of four Vietnamese people who represent four V4 countries will be in charge of marking the test.
The awards are funded by the Embassy of Poland in Hanoi.
Established in 1991, the V4 was created following the break-up of the Soviet Union. Cooperation of the cultural and political alliance initially focused on the construction of democratic systems and accession to NATO and the EU.
The intensity of this cooperation varied over the years to advance co-operation in military, cultural, economic and energy matters with one another and to further their integration to the EU.
