Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 opened on March 15 at the National Exhibition Construction Centre with the participation of 450 businesses dislayed at nearly 1,700 booths.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh and former Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tran Nam.
Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 was attended by more than 450 enterprises, including 234 domestic enterprises, 83 joint ventures and 141 foreign groups from 18 countries.
This is the first of eight exhibitions which will be held in Hanoi, HCM City, Danang and Can Tho this year, according to head of the organizing board Nguyen Tran Nam.
A wide range of new products will be displayed at nearly 1,700 pavilions such as construction materials, electric equipment and doors, exterior-interior decor products, paint and solar energy systems.
Notably, two glass fibre plants will recommend glass fibre construction materials to customers of this year’s event.
Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 will provide a good chance for domestic businesses and managers to further understand economic development, import-export and investment as well as the property market, Nam added.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh said the Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 that displays many new products and services and organises activities will make a chance for the state management agencies, enterprises and customers to catch up with new trend, manage effectively the market and seek investment opportunities.
The exhibition is expected to create good opportunities for investment promotion, the deputy minister added.
Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 will provide a favourable chance for domestic businesses and managers to further understand economic development, import-export and investment as well as the property market, deputy minister Khanh noted.
Conferences on advanced green technology and products used in the construction industry, a business forum and exchanges between domestic and foreign businesses will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Vietbuild Hanoi 2017 runs until March 19.
