Vietnam among seven affordable honeymoon destinations outside India
Weddings are an expensive affair, and they almost always go over the budgets leaving less room for an exotic honeymoon.
Vietnam has been named among seven affordable honeymoon destinations outside India, according to a list released by Mans World India, a magazine is part of MW.Com India Pvt Ltd (MIPL), a Mumbai-based publishing company set up in 1999.
Mans World India advises travelers that Vietnam could be a perfect honeymoon destination for couples on a budget. Air travel is quite affordable if you make the booking in advance.
“Vietnam offers romantic boat rides in Hoi An, exploring Ho Chi Minh, camping at the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park and other fun activities. Plus, if you’re into history, you can visit the War Remnants Museum and Ho Chi Minh City Museum,” Mans World India wrote.
Bali tops the list, followed by Nepal, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Maldives, Indonesia.
Earlier, Vietnam has been named among 25 surprising places around the world to discover solo, according to a list released by The Travel, a vacation destination website.
The website recommends that traveling to Vietnam alone might sound intimidating, but it isn’t and there are plenty of people who travel here solo. According to Intrepid Travel, blogger Amanda Williams traveled alone to Vietnam and wrote that the nation has an established tourist trail that will make first-time visitors feel at ease.
“The main sites on the trail include places like Ha Long Bay, known for its dazzling emerald waters and thousands of towering limestone islands, Hoi An, a well preserved ancient town, Ho Chi Minh City, a city with tons of energy and entertainment and the Mekong Delta, which is a vast maze of rivers, swamps and islands, The Travel wrote.
The number of foreign holidaymakers to Vietnam in the first four months of 2019 is estimated at nearly 6 million, a 7.6% increase from the same period last year, according to the Vietnam National Adiministration of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
