Vietnam always considers the US a one of the county’s leading trade partner, NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien yesterday told Vice President and CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council Michael W.Michalak in Hanoi.

The Vietnamese National Assembly is willing to create favourable conditions for foreign firms, including those from the US, to expand investment in the country, he said, adding that it has been perfecting the legal mechanism in the direction of transparency and publicity, including laws related to market economy mechanism.
US firms operating in Vietnam should pay attention to protecting the environment and raising social responsibility while enhancing cooperation with Vietnam in human resources training and technology transferring, Hien said.
For his part, Michael W.Michalak said US enterprises hope to boost links with Vietnam across fields through dialogues and experience sharing.
He suggested the Vietnamese side accelerate the simplification of administrative procedures and tax policy reform in order to facilitate US firms’ production and business in the country.Nguồn: (Source: People Newspaper
