The fair features over 100 promotional booths showcasing Vietnamese branded products, including agricultural and processed foods, household goods, textiles, and handicrafts.

There are also typical products from various provinces and cities, such as Shan Tuyet tea from the northern province of Ha Giang; cashew nuts from the southern province of Dak Nong; agarwood handicrafts and green lim mushrooms from the central province of Quang Nam; Seng Cu rice, artichoke products and honey from the northern province of Lao Cai; processed seafood and fish sauce from Haiphong City; agricultural products and herbal medicines from the northern province of Hoa Binh.

Speaking at the fair's opening ceremony on May 9, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) Bui Duy Quang said the event aims to strengthen trade promotion activities, support marketing and find outlets for export-oriented products, local specialties and distinctive offerings from various regions, while stimulating consumer demand.

He added that this activity networks distributors and manufacturers, creating sustainable supply chains and long-term product consumption.

"It also increases consumer awareness and confidence in the quality and brand of Vietnamese products, effectively implementing the campaign "Vietnamese prefer to use Vietnamese products," he said.

Le Van Cuong, Director of Vinh Phuc Friend Foods Investment Joint Stock Company, believes that the fair is an excellent opportunity to introduce and promote the potential, strengths and flagship products of the localities.

In addition, through the fair production and business make contact with retail enterprises and have opportunity to sell to major distribution channels, aiming for  export through the international supermarket system in Vietnam.

Pham Tuan Anh, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the southern province of Dak Nong, said the HPA has held several fairs in recent years, making them promotional platforms for provinces, enterprises and cooperative groups at home and abroad to enhance their reputation and market position.

"By participating in such fairs, enterprises and cooperatives can expand their network of suppliers, export products to partners at home and abroad, and strengthen the position of Vietnamese brands," he added.
