Vietnam Fall-Winter 2015 Fashion Week to be launched

The Vietnam Fall-Winter 2015 Fashion Week is scheduled to take place this week in Hanoi, featuring 18 designers in evening shows from March 12-15.

Some 800 fashion designs by local designers, including well-known Minh Hanh, Elise – Phuong Bui, Charming Lys, and Italian trendsetters such as Alda Santini, will take to the catwalk.
Special traditional fabrics along with sensational bead embroidery embellishment, the latest trend, will be on display.

Haute Couture collections for fall and winter seasons will be brought to audiences on the closing night, March 15.
Fashion is one of the most promising cooperation fields for Vietnam and Italy as the European country is widely regarded as the “fashion capital of the world” and Vietnam is attempting to develop its sector, Ambassador to Vietnam Natalia Sanginiti told reporters.
Italy has organised a number of fashion events and collaborative projects in Vietnam, she added.
During the week, local and foreign designers will be offered the opportunity to participate in a number of meetings and exhibitions in Casa Italian Centre at No.18, Le Phung Hieu Street, Hanoi.
