Biggest pho bo feast recognized as a world record

A fund-raising event for local workers in Ho Chi Minh City on June 11 that served more than 2,100 bowls of pho bo (beef noodles) was recognized as the largest feast in Vietnam and the world.
The event, held at Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone in Ho Chi Minh City's District 7, used about 1,000 liters of broth, 88 kilograms of beef, and more than 120 kilograms of vegetables and ingredients, with 80 people involved in the cooking.
Vietnam among best nations for motorcycling
According to TravelDailyNews Asia & Pacific, Vietnam is one of the Southeast Asian countries with the best motorbike routes. Riders can experience many routes across the country, especially the 2,000-kilometer Ho Chi Minh Trail, which offers breathtaking scenery, dense jungles, towering mountains, historic battlefields, and bustling cities.
With the help of a travel guide, riders can visit traditional Hmong and Dao villages, explore scenic mountain roads, and take in breathtaking countryside views.
Ho Chi Minh City Post Office named second best in the world
Architectural Digest magazine has named Ho Chi Minh City's Central Post Office the world's second most beautiful post office. The Vietnamese office's yellow facade and green shutters make it a popular tourist attraction, and its European-style design features Gothic, Renaissance, and French influences combined with Asian decor.
In operation since the late 1880s, the post office offers traditional postal services such as mailing, postcard sales, and stamp sales, as well as foreign currency exchange.
Meiko Group to build fourth semiconductor factory in Vietnam
Japan's Meiko Group plans to lease 9.2 hectares of land in the Bo Trai Song Da Industrial Park and build a semiconductor factory worth VND4.66 trillion (US$198.5 million).
Entering Vietnam in 2006, the Meiko Group now operates three factories, with the majority located in the Thach That Industrial Park in Hanoi's Thach That District.
EU eases import policy for Vietnamese instant noodles
Vietnamese instant noodle products will no longer require health certificates issued by Vietnam's authorized agencies to be imported into European Union markets starting June 27. Instead, about 20% of exports will be inspected at EU border gates.
The EU relaxation is in recognition of efforts by Vietnamese authorities and businesses to comply with EU food safety regulations and improve the quality of their products.
Vietnam's top 50 listed companies announced
According to Forbes Vietnam, the total after-tax profit of Vietnam's top 50 listed companies on the Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi stock exchanges gained almost 18% year-on-year to VND228 trillion (US$9.7 billion) in 2022. The companies' combined revenue increased by almost a quarter-on-year to VND1.49 quadrillion (US$63.4 billion).
The list is dominated by financial, consumer staples, and logistics companies, while representation from the real estate and materials sectors has halved.
