Vietnam organises first exhibition on Venezuelan women's roles in social development
Venezuelan Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Women’s Union opened an exhibition themed "Venezuelan women during the nation’s socialist construction in the 21st century" at the Vietnam Women`s Museum in Hanoi on October 5.
The show features 50 pieces of artwork that portraited local women’s contributions in various fields including agriculture, industry, technology and politics.
Venezuelan Ambassador to Vietnam Jorge Rondon Uzcategui took the occasion to thank the Vietnam Women’s Union for supporting his agency to hold the exhibition that honours his female compatriots.
Addressing the event, Standing Deputy Head of the Vietnam Women’s Union Hoang Thi Ai Nhien believed that the Venezuelan Embassy will serve as a bridge connecting the two nations’ female citizens.
The exhibition runs through October 15.
