Vietnam team jumps a place in FIFA world rankings

According to the FIFA world rankings issued for January 2016, Vietnam team ranked 146th, jumping a place from December 2015.

In the region, Vietnam remained the positions, at 24th in Asia and 3rd in Southeast Asia. 
In Southeast Asia, Thailand topped the rankings, the Philippines ranked the second.

 
The national team have not played any official match in the past two months but gained nine points for rank improvement. 
Meanwhile, Iran came in first in Asia, followed by the Republic of Korea, Japan and Australia. 
Belgium listed the first of the FIFA table, followed by Argentina, Spain and Germany.
