Vietnam to have its first VR light park in Danang

The upcoming development of Vietnam's first Virtual Reality (VR) Light Park is set to boost the country's tourism industry.

Vietnam will have its first VR light park in the beach city of Danang, diversifying entertainment options for tourists to the coastal city.

It's a project cooperated by Ben Thanh - Non Nuoc Tourism Joint Stock Company and two South Korean partners.

Under the signing ceremony held on May 23, the park will be built in the 60,000m2 pine forest of a tourist area in Ngu Hanh Son District using VR technology from South Korea's Newton Technologies Co., Ltd.

It's expected to provide a modern digital tourism product with light shows combining reality and virtuality with lighting, animation, and video.

According to Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of the Danang Tourism Department, this new tourism product is promising and will help Danang attract more visitors. "The project will make a significant contribution to creating more attractive tourism products that incorporate technology," he said.

The VR Light Park is expected to provide a unique sensory entertainment experience for tourists," he added.

Nguyen Ngoc Tung, a representative of a tourist site, said that although Danang is a top destination for many tourists with its many large tourist sites, the VR Light Park will provide a completely different experience.

Kim Woon Tae, Director of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in Danang, expressed his optimism about the project's potential and possible cooperation between the two countries' businesses.
