The event will feature a variety of activities, including book launches, storytelling sessions, book-related art exhibitions, and discussions on reading culture.

Visitors eagerly respond to the annual reading culture day at the Hanoi Book Street in Hai Ba Trung District.

There will be the integration of digital platforms Zoom and Google Meet for book discussions that allows virtual communities to connect, share, and explore literature. This digital approach will bridge the gap between traditional reading habits and modern technological advances, making books more accessible to a wider audience.

The event will also honor individuals and organizations contributing to the growth of Vietnam’s reading culture, including book creators, publishers, librarians, and others working to preserve and promote books. Local communities will be encouraged to participate in activities such as book exchanges, book discussions, and creative workshops to celebrate and explore the world of literature.

Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 aims to strengthen the role of books as a tool  for personal and national growth. By promoting reading, the event seeks to inspire future generations to embrace knowledge, creativity, and critical thinking, ultimately supporting the country’s continued development in a rapidly changing world.
