As many as 75 ancient terracotta exhibits, which date from thousands years ago to the early 20 th century, are being displayed at an exhibition that opened on April 22 at the National History Museum in Hanoi.
The objects on display include statues of humans and animals and decorations for religious and architectural purposes.
According to Nguyen Van Doan, Deputy Director of the museum, the event is promoting Vietnam’s cultural values and heritage.
Organisers hope the exhibition will help domestic and foreign visitors better understand the country’s ancient ceramics, thus raising public awareness on preserving national cultural heritage.
The exhibition will run until August this year.
