The award, which marks a turning point in Vietnam Hotel services, is the result of a recent reader survey conducted by the famous Travel + Leisure magazine.
The hotel, located in Hue city, was critiqued according to 5 criteria including facilities, location, services, restaurants and customer satisfaction.
"We're really happy and proud of the hotel and the city because almost all of the hotel management staff including the CEO, Chef, and marketing manager were born in Hue ", said Phan Trong Minh, Vietnamese Executive Director of La Residence Hotel.
Minh is the fifth CEO of the hotel and has held the position since January 2013.
La Residence Hotel & Spa was also listed as one of Asia’s 20 best resorts in 2012 by Conde Nast Traveler and appeared in the collection of Accor’s MGallery as one of the world’s best hotels.
