Vietnamese singer to headline at int’l music fest in Bangkok

Come June 3, Vietnamese singer Son Tung M-TP will be among an all-star lineup of renowned Asian artists performing in Bangkok, Thailand at what is billed as the largest digital music fest in the region.

At Viral Fest Asia 2017 – the Vietnamese superstar will take the stage alongside top performers including Bi Rain and Suran from South Korea; and AKB48, Flower, and Exile the Second from Japan.

The event is expected to attract a crowd of 8,000 people. It will begin at 5p.m on June 3 with performances beginning at 6pm all the way through to 11pm, with a special EDM party set for the following day.
The inaugural Viral Fest Asia is an annual festival celebrating the very best in music and video content revolution in Asia. The continent's hottest artistes, musicians, digital talents and social media celebs will converge in Bali, Indonesia for an explosive night of All-Star concert, EDM music…
Set to be an annual event, Viral Fest Asia is presented by WebTVAsia, the digital media company founded by Prodigee Media as a YouTube Certified Multi-Channel Network (MCN) to produce, manage, market and monetise the most wanted Asian video content.
Nowadays, plenty of stars have achieved fame by becoming viral sensations on social media sites like YouTube and Facebook, including Justin Bieber, 5 Seconds of Summer, Carly Rae Jepsen, Greyson Chance and PSY are some of the stars made famous globally via YouTube.

Last year, on July 16, Viral Fest Asia — Asia’s first ever music festival which celebrates the digital music evolution, set to take place on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia.
Aiming to celebrate the very best in music and video content from Asia, the star-studded live concert will feature 25 top Asian performers from 12 Asian countries, they are:
Hyunah and MC Mong from South Korea; Al Ghazali, DJ Yasmin, Papinka from Indonesia, Namewee and Noh Salleh, Iris Woo from Malaysia; JW from Hong Kong, Badshah from India, Miu Le and Chi Pu  from Vietnam, Guan Zhe and Top Combine from China, Jannine Weigel and Bie the Ska, The Richman Toy, 60 Miles from Thailand;  Joyce Chu (Malaysia), Jane Huang, S.White, VC Tan from Taiwan, Noir from Japan), Mikey Bustos from Philippines and Kelly Poon from Singapore.
