The programme named "Vietnam`s Got Talent 2014" has officially found 49 performances entering the Semifinals.
After 4 months of searching and selecting candidates throughout the country, 49 outstanding performances has been qualified to the semifinals of the contest.
The first semi-final of the competition including 7 performances will take place on November 30 and be boadcast live on Vietnam Television VTV3.

The first semi-final competition includes Xam singing performance of a lovely 9-year-old boy Nguyen Duc Vinh, a singing performance of teacher Huynh Mai, street work-out performance of Bar-TN’s 8 muscular guys, magic performance of Cao Luan, a performance of contortion of body of a masked boy Lam Thanh Dat, bellydance dancing performance of a couple Cao Hieu – Minh Phuong and singing performance of B.I.A Band.
It can be seen that the first semi-final contest is very tough and tense. Therefore, all candidates have to try their best to gain the audience’s hearts and win precious votes from viewers .

The contestants have to quickly arrange to be present in Ho Chi Minh City and practice for the first semi-final night of competition with well-known experts, advisers of the program such as musician Duc Tri, choreographer Alexander Tu, singer Hoang Bach, etc, to be able to have the most effective performances.
Alexander Tu said that he found the performances distinct, attractive and unique. However, as a choreographer, he noticed that the contestants have not really acquainted with performing on a big stage. They need to show their abilities as well as perform well. For instance, group TN - Bar are skilled and possesses attractive appearance, but they are not really good at rhythm. He was impressed by Duc Vinh because of his immaturity and naivety shown on each his moves and his face. Particularly, when Vinh move and laughed, he showed his passion on music and dancing. Hoang Bach said that the performances which he consulted were very unique. Bach does not evaluate who is good at singing, but, indeed to get into the round they are really unique. He thought that these were factors which would attract audiences nationwide. What important things is that they need to be familiar with the stage and catch up with the rhythm to have best performances, Bach also said.
