According to the announcement of the organising board, the Vietnam International Travel Mart – VITM Hanoi 2016, themed “Vietnam - The paradise of sea and island tourism”, will take place in Hanoi from April 14-17.
The annual fair aims to attract more international visitors to Vietnam and increase the number of domestic tourists to sea and island areas.
The fair has been organised by the Vietnam Tourism Association in collaboration with the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the municipal People’s Committee since 2013.
VITM Hanoi 2016 will introduce to visitors thousands of the country’s tourism products in general and sea and island tourism in particular.
This year's event targets to strenghthen three sectors of tourism, including Inbound, Domestic and Outbound.
In addition, the fair will also include seminars and conferences focusing on improving professionalism in tourism sector and promoting Vietnam’s seas and islands.
