Visitors to Vietnam International Tourism Mart 2022 (VITM Hanoi 2022) may have chances to buy tourism services, airline tickets, and book accommodations at reasonable prices.
VITM Hanoi 2022 themed “New Normal - New Opportunities for Vietnam Tourism” will offer over 10,000 tours, 100,000 air tickets and gifts at preferential prices.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet emphasized that the event marked a new stage in Vietnam’s tourism.
“After a two-year hiatus because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the national tourism industry has officially entered the stage of recovery and development. Both inbound and outbound tourism will be fostered in the coming time,” he said.

VITM this year has also been joined by international tour operators from six countries and territories, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan (China) and Turkey.
Vice President of the Hanoi Tourism Association Trinh Thi My Nghe said that VITM Hanoi 2022 kicked off at the right time, offering localities and tourism businesses the opportunity to introduce their tourism product while increasing the linkage among local and international tour operators.
“Despite the bad impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the scale of VITM Hanoi 2022 is even larger than VITM 2020, with 320 booths. Participating businesses are now offering many attractive tourism products with preferential prices,” she stated.

Chairman of the Hanoi Travel Association, Director of Hanoitourist Travel Company Phung Quang Thang said that the company will introduce many new tourism products to domestic and international travelers at the event, notably, some typical tours around Hanoi such as the Walking tour “French architecture in the heart of Hanoi”, the night tour to visit Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Hoa Lo Prison relic, especially the new product titled “The Legend of the Bat Trang Ancient Village”.
As the summer is approaching, various beach tours are offered such as the three-day-two-night tour to Con Dao Island at VND5,200,000 (around US$250); the four-day-three-night tour to Phu Quoc Island at VND5,200,000 ($230); and tour to visit Hanoi, Da Nang and Hoi An at VND4,400,000 ($190) in four days and three nights, among others.
In 2022, Flamingo Redtours Travel Company will hold a wealth of 1,500 tours on the occasion of Hung King's Anniversary and 2,500 sea and island tours, of which the highlight is the Flamingo Education Camping for students, priced from VND790,000 per person.
Director of Flamingo Redtours Travel Company Nguyen Cong Hoan predicted that travel will likely peak in the holidays of Hung Kings Commemoration (April 9-11) and Vietnam Reunification and May Day (falls on 30 April and May 1). Visitors tend to travel in small groups with friends or family. Besides, MICE tourism will also recover quickly in the near future.
It is expected that about 40,000 visitors will visit this three-day tourism fair.
