Images of Viet Nam captured in photos, newspapers and films will go on display at an exhibition in France that starts this Saturday.
The event, part of the celebrations to mark 40 years of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and France, aimed to promote multi-faceted relations between the two countries, the organisers said.
The subjects include Viet Nam's sea and islands, French architecture, traditional craft villages and cuisine.
The organisers said more than 200 photos, 100 special documentary films and 400 newspaper cuttings had been chosen to go on display at the event.
The film week would help international visitors to learn more about Viet Nam and increase patriotism among the overseas Vietnamese community, the organisers said.
The event will wrap up on May 3 before moving to other locations around France.
