World Expo 2020 Dubai: Vietnam Pavilion showcases the rich culture of Vietnam
As one of the favorite destinations of visitors to World Expo 2020, Vietnam Pavilion tells the story of a nation with a rich heritage, full of potential and opportunity.
The World EXPO 2020 Dubai taking place in Dubai (UAE) has become one of the world's highlights. And the highlight of the event, the Vietnam Exhibition House had an exciting month of activities.

The Vietnam Pavilion at Expo 2020 is themed ‘Distilling the Past, Shaping the Future.’ With a history as a cultural and trade crossroads, Vietnam now is more than ready to embrace cooperation and connection on a global scale.
Spanning an area of 850 squared-meters, the Vietnamese pavilion impresses with 800 conical hats hang at the entrance, and miniatures of 18 artworks created by renowned Vietnamese contemporary artists.
Visiting the pavilion, most of visitors showed their excitement when playing some Vietnamese traditional music instruments such as K’long put, T’rung; trying on an Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) and enjoying some Vietnamese specialties.
In addition, they can experience Vietnam’s tourist sites via virtual reality and explore ‘Make-in-Vietnam’ products such as Dragon satellites, sneakers made from discarded coffee grounds and plastic bottles, as well as the ST25 rice variety.

Sharing his feeling after visiting the Vietnam Pavilion in Expo 2020, Dubai, Khaid Bin Amer from India said: “Vietnam has left a great impression on me. We all feel satisfied when seeing huge smiles of yours. The art performances here are definitely very attractive that showcase your nation’s rich and diversified culture. For sure that I will come back to the Vietnam Pavilion for more.”
Vietnam Pavilion has also welcomed many distinguished visitors such as H.E Julius Maada Bio, the President of Sierra Leone,- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former Iranian President, Crown Prince of Ajmal (UAE) Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Bin Rashid, among others.
According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, the Vietnam Pavilion demonstrates the Vietnamese Government’s solid commitment and efforts in promoting the country’s images and upholding cultural values and creativity of Vietnamese people.
