Business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce sales (for goods and services provided online) will account for 10% of the total retail sales of consumer goods and services, with average annual growth about 20%.

The city’s businesses strive to achieve 80% of e-commerce websites having online ordering function by 2025. Up to 40% of the enterprises are expected to participate in e-commerce activities on mobile applications.

To achieve the objectives, the Hanoi People's Committee has set out a number of tasks and solutions, in particular, building and developing infrastructure and support services for e-commerce such as upgrading the website “Hanoi Shopping Map”, putting into operation and   promoting its website at http://bandomuasam.hanoi.gov.vn.

The city will also develop electronic logistics for e-commerce activities; build and improve the capacity of the transport service network, logistics infrastructure, and freight forwarding within Hanoi and with other localities.
