Chinh expressed his belief that the ambassador will accomplish assigned missions to make the Vietnam-Lao relationship deeper, and more practical and effective in all fields for the prosperity of each country, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development within the region and in the world.

Chinh hoped the ambassador will act as an important bridge to help ministries, agencies, and localities in exchanging information, sharing experience and assisting each other to implement each Party’s congress resolutions and agreements – to create new motivation for promoting and deepening the Vietnam-Laos relationship.

The ambassador thanked Vietnam for actively supporting and helping Laos to take on its ASEAN chairmanship in 2016. A number of agreements have been signed on demarcation and border management, contributing to developing the traditional friendship and special solidarity between the two nations.
