Ba Dinh launches Thang Long - Hanoi's 1010th Anniversary Celebration Program

The programs is expected create the motivation and contribute to the implementation of the specific and practical tasks of each locality, agency, and unit.

The Ba Dinh District People's Committee on September 16 held a conference to kick off the program celebrating 1010 years of Thang Long - Hanoi and the success of the 17th Hanoi Party Congress for the period 2020-25.

At the conference, Chairman of the district´s People's Committee Ta Nam Chien kicked start the program which contemplates organizing commemorative activities; implementing political and defense and security duties as well as socio-economic development targets by 2020; improving the business investment environment; strengthening planning management; protecting the environment, developing culture, education and health; ensuring social security; and improving people's lives, social order and safety.

 The district´s Party Secretary Hoang Minh Dung Tien addresses the conference.



In addition, under the program, the district would continue promoting the administrative reform, raising awareness and responsibility of civil servants, speeding up the implementation of projects, launching social programs and activities, among other activities; with the aim of creating a joyful atmosphere for people in the year of celebration.


Speaking at the conference, District´s Party Secretary Hoang Minh Dung Tien suggested units at all levels translate the instructions and resolutions of the Party and the government into concrete activities, focusing on overcoming difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, making effort in meeting the the socio-economic development targets set for 2020. The most urgent task is to prevent economic decline, ensure the social security, and stabilize people's lives.

The Secretary also noted that the programs must create the motivation and contribute to the implementation of the specific and practical tasks of each locality, agency, and unit; ensuring stability, political security, social order and safety; and carrying out the Party´s construction and the political system.
