Visitors discover beauty of photography with Belgian photographer
Belgian photographer Elodie Ledure will offer creative perspectives in photography, discovering the beauty of nature in combination with an arranged context.
Elodie Ledure, a photographer from Belgium, will present her creative works through various activities in Hanoi this month during her visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation in Vietnam to celebrate European Day (May 9) and the International Biennial Photo Hanoi'23.
Accordingly, she will hold a solo exhibition Orange Wounds at the National Library of Vietnam, Hanoi, from May 10 to 16.
The 38-year-old photographer will join the collective exhibition with international artists on the theme of La Mode at the Hoan Kiem Lake Pedestrian Zone from May 12 to 30.
According to Elodie Ledure, Orange Wounds evokes fragility by questioning women. Meanwhile, the fashion photography that she pursues is anchored in a form of reality, a natural aesthetic. The compositions that unfold in natural contexts or constructions are different from the atmospheres and the usual representations of fashion photos.

On this occasion, she will join workshops and meetings with students at Hanoi University and with students majoring in photography at the Hanoi Academy of Theater and Cinema.
Her photography draws the contours of a universe made up of small fragilities, offbeat observations, and the longing for wide open spaces.
Having lived in Switzerland and the Czech Republic, she has exhibited regularly in Belgium, France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. In 2014, Elodie Ledure published the photo book Apnée (Yellow Now publishing house).
For several years, she has been a photography teacher at the Saint-Luc de Liège University of Fine Arts where she studied.
"Elodie Ledure's gaze is an inventive projection that lingers only on nearby places and objects to better divide them, to go beyond them. Elodie's pictures invite us to complicated experiences," according to the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation.
