Call for entries of Circular Economy Photo Contest 2023

Amateur and professional photographers, including expatriates in Vietnam, are invited to participate in the Circular Economy Photo Contest 2023.

A photo contest on circular economy has been launched, inviting Vietnamese and foreign photographers to participate.

The Circular Economy Photo Contest 2023 is organized to search for typical photographic works that promote the benefits and importance of circular economy in using natural resources, reducing pollution and environmental degradation, and responding to climate change.

The contest entries will create a repository of high-quality photographic materials to promote the circular economy model in the community and contribute to the development of the National Circular Economy Implementation Action Plan.

It's a chance for professional and amateur photographers in the country to compose and publish beautiful works on circular economy and win prizes. Typical photographic works will be selected for awards and displayed at C ASEAN Headquarters in Hanoi.

The first, second, and third prize-winning pictures are expected to be displayed at the SX 2023 Sustainable Development Exhibition (SX 2023) in Bangkok, Thailand.

The contest is open to Vietnamese citizens and foreigners working and living in Vietnam who are at least 18 years old and have no problems with the law.

The contest entries are works that reflect the circular economy model and should depict the exploitation and use of non-renewable resources and water resources; increasing efficiency in the use of natural resources, raw materials, and energy-saving materials; extending the life of materials, equipment, products, goods, and other components; limiting waste generation and minimizing adverse environmental impacts; limiting the use of harmful chemicals; waste recycling, energy recovery; refraining from single-use products; green shopping.

The competition is held by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, Environment Magazine (VEM), and the non-profit organization C ASEAN Vietnam.

The panel of judges includes representatives from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, and C ASEAN.

Authors send photos to the competition by uploading them to the website: anhtinhtetuanhoan.com. The deadline for accepting photos is from now until the end of August 24.

The award ceremony and exhibition are expected to be held in September 2023.
