Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung: Determined to remove barriers to the Capital's development

On June 14, after continuing to be elected as the City Chairman for 2016-2021 tenure, speaking at the first session, Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has expressed his deepest and sincere thanks for the City Council`s trust.

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee said: "We are acutely aware that this is both a great honor and a challenge, a heavy responsibility that the Party, Government and the Capital's People entrusted. To deserve that trust, we pray absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the People, the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the highest effort to make the best task and authority which by law, worthy of trust, expectations of leaders at all levels, deputies of City Council, the voters and the people of the Capital."

To complete the tasks in the new period, Hanoi Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung confirmed: the MPC will closely cooperate, support each other, observe, and strictly implement the content direction of the Party, implement effectively the resolutions of the City Council, under the supervision of the people's Council deputies, and all the people, people's organizations, social organizations, professional associations and the mass media agencies. At the mean time promoting the strength of the whole political system, the tremendous support of the strata in the construction and development of the capital in accordance with the planning objectives that have been approved by the government as "Green , Civilization and Modern."

City Chairman said that the city will focus on promoting the comprehensive reform of the public administration in the direction of building the rule of law and the implementation of transparent, democratic principles to maintain strict discipline, administrative discipline, carving for delays, inconveniences to citizens and businesses. Determined to overcome the shortcomings and weaknesses, reviewing and removing barriers, impediments to the development of capital across all sectors. Continuing to preserve, nurture and build unity, a sense of responsibility at work, promoting best collective wisdom, and uphold the full responsibility of each individual in a decisive, aggressive, innovative way.

City Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung stressed that "it is determined to implement in the near future and this is the promise to be pledged to implement. To deserve the lofty sentiments and confidence, expectations of the leaders, the City People's Council deputies, voters and the Capital's People."
