The drawing competition is designed to show how local children love the capital, where they live and study.
Ninety-nine children from the capital city participated in a drawing contest called "Hanoi in Your Eyes". The event was held on September 30 as part of the Hanoi Autumn Festival.

During the 90-minute competition, young painters have the opportunity to freely express their love, understanding, impressions and expectations of their beloved capital.
The artwork captures the great diversity of Hanoi in an innocent and joyful way. In their eyes, it is a contemporary, modern city that still retains its ancient characteristics. The paintings also depict the people and children of Hanoi as elegant, civilized, and peace-loving.
These paintings were then displayed on Haon Hiem pedestrian street. Meanwhile, the young participants received gifts and certificates from the organizers. According to Nguyen Duc Tien, Chairman of Hanoi Youth Union, the program is a meaningful activity to educate the young generation about love for Hanoi, while promoting a beautiful image of the capital to tourists attending Hanoi Autumn Festival.
The first Hanoi Autumn Festival with the theme "Hanoi - Come to fall in love" is underway at Hoan Kiem Walking Space and Hanoi Children's Palace from September 29 to October 1, aiming to promote travel to the capital in autumn, the season when Hanoi is considered to be at its best.
The cultural event features a variety of activities, including art performances, a photo exhibition of Hanoi's autumn, an ao dai (traditional long robe) performance, a carnival, a Hanoi cuisine experience room, and a conference on MICE and golf tourism, among others.
