Viet Tri Stadium in northern Vietnam has just been completely renovated and is ready for the soccer matches at SEA Games 31.
Football matches at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) will be hosted at stadiums in three locations. Viet Tri Stadium in the northern province of Phu Tho, one of the three stadiums, has been chosen to host the matches of Group A, in which the U23 soccer team of Vietnam is placed.
The SEA Games 31 is scheduled to be held from May 12 to 23 in Hanoi and 11 nearby localities, with the attendance of around 10,000 athletes and officials from 11 Southeast Asian countries.
This is the second time Vietnam has hosted such an important international sporting event with the last being in 2003. SEA Games 31, themed “For a stronger South East Asia”, will feature 40 sports with 526 medal events.

To ensure security, eight 360-degree cameras with a zoom range of up to 200 meters have been installed around the pitch and 30 cameras have been set up in the entrance area. All signals will be fed to the security control room. |
