Dream Plus Library opens

This newly opened library will help young readers to learn about Korean culture in the most lively and interesting way.

This is a project promoted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, aiming at creating more reading spaces for young Hanoian as well as enhancing the cultural and information exchange among the people of the two countries.

From 2016 to 2019, the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has built 14 libraries called "Thank you Small Library" at primary, secondary and high schools across Vietnam.

Located on the 4th floor of Hanoi Library, the Dream Plus Library is a reading space featuring a "Korean Cultural Documentation Room" that helps young readers to learn about Korean culture in the most lively and interesting way.

The library features 400 book titles, including Vietnamese translations of many Korean literature books and recently published Vietnamese literary works.

Coming to the library, young readers and those who love Korean culture, also have the opportunity to explore Korean culture through more than 10 types of popular Korean art genres such as Kpop music, movies dramas, cartoons, among others.

Along with the inauguration of Library Dream Plus library, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea and Hanoi Library have also implemented "Special Week of Visiting Dream Plus Library" featuring many cultural activities to draw attentions of book lovers in particular and Hanoians in general.
