The municipal People's Council has announced the schedule for its year-end session from December 5-8.

During this 10th session, the municipal People's Council is expected to review 23 Hanoi People's Committee reports covering all socio-economic issues and 30 resolutions.

The session would include 18 reports on Hanoi's socio-economic performance in 2022 and the plan for 2023; the status of the city's budget execution in 2022 and the estimate for 2023; efforts to practice thrift and fight corruption in 2022; the prevention of crime in 2022; and the results of administrative reform in 2022.

Hanoi People's Council deputies will also discuss the body's operation in 2022 and its main priorities for 2023; summarize voters' opinions and recommendations before the session; report from deputies overseeing the performance of units and agencies under the municipal People's Committee.

In the session, the city People's Council is set to review five thematic reports on the performance of the public investment plan in 2022, the target for 2023, and adjustment to the mid-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period; the finance-budget plan for the 2023-2025 period.

The Hanoi People's Council would assess the results following the implementation of its resolution No.04 on accelerating the progress of privately-funded projects that are currently behind schedule in Hanoi, a project on management of public assets and construction disciplinary orders in the city.

Meanwhile, the session would devote one day for Q&A on the city's socioeconomic performance and urban issues of public concern.

Before the session, deputies are scheduled to hold meetings with voters from November 15 to 25.

The Hanoi People's Council urged related agencies to fully comply with regulations on holding meetings with voters and summarizing their opinions for submission to the Standing Committee of the Hanoi People's Council.
