Educational competition entitled Explore Canada from A to Z launched
The competition which runs until September 30 is open to all Vietnamese high school students.
The 2014 edition of the educational competition entitled Explore Canada from A to Z has been launched, with trips to Canada being promised to its winners.
What is new this year is that the competition also invites Vietnamese students who are studying in Canada to participate and work in pairs with the students from Viet Nam to prepare their projects.
The competition will include two rounds, namely essay writing and movie production.
The contestants will be asked to write essays in English or French on three topics, namely culture, education and career prospects.
The contestants who submit the best essays will be chosen to produce an interesting and relevant short movie on the theme of the competition, which is ‘Exploring Canada's culture while experiencing Canada's education to enhance your career prospects'.
Organised by the Embassy of Canada in Ha Noi and the Consulate General of Canada in HCM City, the competition is reportedly an opportunity for Vietnamese students to challenge themselves and improve their knowledge.
Interested students can learn more about the contest and register at www.duhoc-canada.vn/a-z.
