The exhibition titled “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” is taking place at the National Exhibition and Fair Center in Hanoi’s Dong Anh Commune.
Speaking at the event, Le Hai Binh, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the press center will serve as the hub for organizing, coordinating, and supporting all media coverage related to the exhibition, for both domestic and international reporters.
“The Organizing Committee will provide the best conditions for journalists, helping ensure the success of the exhibition and other events to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution [August 19] and National Day [September 2],” Binh said.
The exhibition will run from August 28 to September 5.
He said this is a milestone event in the commemorative program, designed to honor Vietnam’s history.
The exhibition reflects Vietnam’s arduous and glorious journey while enabling younger generations to gain a deeper understanding of the nation’s resilience and aspirations.
The exhibition will feature 230 booths, displaying artifacts and images that highlight the accomplishments of 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries, 94 private enterprises, and 12 state-owned enterprises.
Each pavilion is designed with a modern approach, incorporating interactive technologies to create an engaging visitor experience.
The exhibition highlights Vietnam’s cultural diversity, natural wealth, and architectural landmarks, along with new industries such as green transformation, digital innovation, aviation, space technology, and defense.
