After six months of launching, the organizing board received 3,571 works of 1,382 authors from 58 provinces and cities. The arts council selected 497 works by 483 authors for the exhibition, including paintings, sculptures, installations, graphics, videos and among others.

The works vividly depict the activities of working, studying, living, and defending the nation and many other contemporary themes with new approaches and diverse expressions.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition held by the Department of Arts, Photography and Exhibition, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong highlighted that it is a national exhibition with the aim of summarizing and evaluating the creative activities carried out in the last five years.

It is an opportunity for a large number of art lovers to approach and enjoy new art works which are rich in content and diverse in forms, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese art market, helping the organizations and individuals access works of high artistic value.

In particular, the exhibition this year brought together artists in Vietnam and those living abroad.
