Experience “The Gesture of Memories” of young French-Vietnamese artist
The exhibition “The Gesture of Memories” by Florian Nguyen at French Culture Center L’Espace (21st April – 4th June) would bring us different story of memories via impressive artworks.

Being born and grown up in France, the young boy Florian Nguyen knows about Vietnam hometown through his grandparent stories - Vietnamese immigrated to France from 1950s. And now, Florian Nguyen wants to use painting and arrangement art to convey his idea about those memories. He cameback to Ho Chi Minh City in 2016 where he developed a visual art project consisting mainly of works drawn in black and white and installations.

His drawing is characterized by a great precision of the line, from the drawing on paper to the monumental fresco. The young French-Vietnamese artist Florian Nguyen (born in 1988) choose way to home as an art creative trip. He let memory pieces of his own and his family become impressive visual artworks.
Continuing from the earlier art project, the exhibition “The Gesture of Memories” of talented artist at French Culture Center L’Espace will tell us story of memories… In those artwork, Florian Nguyen doesn’t directly tell his own story but uses narrative words of friends about their family, relatives to draw the big picture. The exhibition is an mix of black and white pieces, as memories interlace inside everyone. Audience will experience new path to artworks via lens of gesture.
