Explore how Vietnam People's Police is devoted to the nation

Apart from daily duties, the Vietnamese police have offered strategic counsel on security and development, safeguarding national interests.

THE HANOI TIMES — Exhibition "Vietnam People's Police – 80 years for peaceful life" is ongoing in Hanoi Museum to mark the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security (August 19) and the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2).

The exhibition showcased the force’s dedication and sacrifices for the nation and its people, along with its outstanding achievements across all areas.

According to Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, over the past 80 years, the People's Police force has made significant contributions to maintaining political stability, building an increasingly civilized, safe, and healthy society.

These accomplishments have created a favorable environment for national development and contributed significantly to strengthening the country’s foundation, capabilities, international standing, and reputation.

In recent years, the force has shown a strong renovation in reformed management methods, strengthened public service ethics, and contributed significantly to national security and socio-economic development.

"The People's Police continues to advance institutional and legal reforms, supports vulnerable communities, and contributes to building a modern and just society," To told The Hanoi Times.

The expo honored the force’s loyalty, discipline, innovation, and strong sense of responsibility. In Vietnam’s new stage of development, the force must be ready to face increasingly complex challenges. Their mission, he stressed, is now more demanding yet more noble and meaningful than ever.
