The 1,000 additional buses will be allocated to three major bus stations in Hanoi. My Dinh Station will receive 530 added buses, while Giap Bat and Gia Lam will receive the remaining.

The Hanoi Transport Station JSC, operator of these bus stations, has proposed the Hanoi Department of Construction issue 700 temporary permits for the buses to travel in and out of the city during the holiday.

The company projected that the number of passengers may increase by 250% - 350% during the national holiday from the normal day level.

Giap Bat Bus Station forecasted that the number of passengers traveling through the facility will peak at 30,000 passengers per day.

At My Dinh Bus Station, passengers going in and out of the city will peak at 34,000 persons per day, while the figure at Gia Lam Bus Station is projected at 6,500 passengers per day.

My Dinh Bus Station’s Deputy Director Vuong Duy Dung said that passengers will arrive in Hanoi from August 28 to September 1, and leave the city after the holiday.

At Giap Bat, Deputy Director Ta Anh Tuan said the station is working with police and traffic officers to inspect vehicles for alcohol, fire safety, and compliance, while requiring operators not to raise ticket prices or overload buses.
