Hanoi allows reopening of trade centers, fashion and cosmetics stores
Customers must scan a QR code to make medical declarations in accordance with Covid-19 prevention regulations.
Hanoi's authorities have given the go-ahead for the resumption of shopping malls and retail outlets from September 28 as the Covid-19 situation in the capital city is put under control.
Accordingly, malls, fashion shops, cosmetic stores, barbershops, repair shops for vehicles and electrical appliances, stores that sell books, offices, and studying tools, business activities on e-commerce platforms and online delivery can also resume.
However, restaurants and other food and drink establishments can still only offer take-away services, while continuing to adhere to Covid-19 preventive measures set by both the Ministry of Health and the capital city. Public transportation including buses, taxis, and ride-hailing services remain suspended, except for diplomatic services and certain purposes like coronavirus management.
Hanoi has undergone a series of social distancing orders since July 24. The followings are some photos taken on the first reopening day:
