Hang emphasized that the festival is a good initiative as it aims to promote, honor and connect agricultural production and craft villages in Hanoi as well as provides artisans, businesses, craft villages from Hanoi and other provinces with a venue to gather and exchange experiences.

These activities help promote production linkages and product consumption, attract investment, seek opportunities for cooperation and technology transfer for agricultural production and rural development.

In addition, the event is expected to help Hanoi and other localities promote the one commune one product (OCOP) program, in order to boost trade and consumption of farm produce.

Hang encouraged business owners to participate in the festival and asked its organizing board to actively support businesses, localities, provinces and cities participating in the fair.

The official wished business owners to promote achievements in 2020, continue to apply advanced science and technology to production to create more high-quality agricultural products and ensure food security.
