Hanoi Book Street - Autumn cultural meeting place

Every year, in September (or October), Hanoi Book Street has been organized by Department of Information & Communication at the Royal Heritage Center of Thang Long.

Hanoi Book Street was opened for the first time in 2014, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Capital Liberation. Hanoi Book Association is entitled "Hanoi - City for Peace". In a week, a series of exchanges with authors and scholars has been organized. Book display spaces are based on the following major themes: "Thang Long - Hanoi at present", "Book journey", "President Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi Capital", "beautiful books", "Discovering the world" to attract thousands of readers.

In 2016, the owner of "Books and Integration", Hanoi Book Association is the convergence, introduction and distribution of books with 170 booths of more than 46 publishers, domestic book companies and 20 foreign publishing brands. It consists of many diverse genres such as children's books, literature books, social culture, economics books, science and technology, foreign languages ​​books, e-books and digital devices.


 
With the desire to bring readers unique spiritual values, meaningful activities associated with books, Hanoi Book Association selects a new topic. In 2017, with the spirit of start-ups are spreading vigorously in the community, the Hanoi Book Association with the topic "Books and Start-ups" will be the place where readers, especially young people find many books attained. Giving your creative inspiration, followed by the stories and lessons learned in the start-up process of successful entrepreneurs and receive useful, practical advice.

The Hanoi Book of 2017 will last for 5 days, especially on weekends (September 23 and 24). Capital readers have queued long at the Imperial Heritage Center of Thang Long - Hanoi not only to buy books, but to meet writers, business people to talk about books and the efforts of Debut.

Up to now, Hanoi Book Club is not only a festival of reading culture every occasion, but also aims to build a learning society, create beauty in the social life of the Capital, contributing to build the tradition of elegance and civilization. It is a chance for people to review the traditional culture of Thang Long - Hanoi, contributing to propagation and education among the people of the Capital and the whole nation about the great historical meaning of liberation day.
