The Hanoi Sewerage and Drainage Company has directed all affiliated units to lower water levels in drainage systems and retention lakes to the lowest point, ensuring safe operation of pumping stations and sluice gates.
Construction sites that may obstruct water drainage are being reviewed and contractors are required to set up emergency response plans.
